1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or using any services provided by MainLine Lift & Home, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
MainLine Lift & Home provides professional accessibility and home mobility solutions, including but not limited to:
Stair Lift Sales & Installation
Home Elevator Solutions
Vertical Platform Lifts
Wheelchair Ramps
Aging-in-Place Modifications
Home Accessibility Assessments
Maintenance & Repair Services
Accessibility Consulting
Other related mobility and home safety solutions
The scope of services for each project will be outlined in individual proposals, quotations, invoices, or service agreements.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information regarding the property and project requirements.
Ensure safe and reasonable access to the installation or service location.
Obtain any necessary approvals or permissions required for installation where applicable.
Review project details and provide timely approvals.
Make scheduled payments according to the agreed payment terms.
Delays caused by the client may affect installation schedules and project completion dates.
4. Payments & Billing
Pricing will be provided through written estimates or quotations.
A deposit may be required before work begins.
Remaining balances are due according to the agreed payment schedule or upon project completion.
Late payments may result in additional charges or suspension of services.
Payments made for completed work, custom products, or special-order equipment are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
5. Estimates & Project Changes
Any estimate provided by MainLine Lift & Home is based on the information available at the time of inspection.
If additional work becomes necessary due to unforeseen site conditions, structural modifications, or client-requested changes, additional charges may apply. Any changes will be communicated before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.
6. Installation & Scheduling
Installation dates are estimates and may change due to:
Product availability
Manufacturer delays
Weather conditions
Site readiness
Safety concerns
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
We will make reasonable efforts to notify clients of any scheduling changes.
7. Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply to eligible products as provided by the respective manufacturers.
MainLine Lift & Home may also provide workmanship warranties where specified in the project agreement.
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage resulting from:
Misuse
Abuse
Unauthorized modifications
Improper maintenance
Accidents
Natural disasters
8. Acceptable Use
Clients agree not to:
Misuse installed equipment.
Allow unauthorized modifications to installed products.
Use accessibility equipment in a manner inconsistent with manufacturer recommendations.
Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities involving our services.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, designs, and branding, is the property of MainLine Lift & Home or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.
10. Client Property
Clients retain ownership of their property and any materials they provide.
MainLine Lift & Home is not responsible for pre-existing structural defects, hidden utility lines, or conditions that were not reasonably discoverable before installation.
11. Third-Party Products
Many products installed by MainLine Lift & Home are manufactured by third-party companies.
We are not responsible for manufacturer product recalls, discontinued models, warranty policy changes, or delays outside our control.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MainLine Lift & Home shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Loss of income
Loss of business
Property damage beyond the scope of contracted work
Personal inconvenience
Loss of data or profits
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
13. Disclaimer
Services are provided using commercially reasonable skill and care.
Except where expressly required by law, MainLine Lift & Home makes no warranties, express or implied, beyond those specifically stated in the applicable service agreement or manufacturer warranty.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if:
Payment obligations are not met.
Clients engage in abusive, threatening, or fraudulent behavior.
Unsafe working conditions exist.
Clients violate these Terms & Conditions.
Clients remain responsible for payment for work completed prior to termination.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
16. Changes to These Terms
MainLine Lift & Home may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Updated versions become effective upon publication on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
